We designed the original branding treatment and logo for Christmas Tree Shops in 1976—when it was a small, three-location retail chain of specialty discount stores on Cape Cod.
Our branding treatment endured for almost five decades—outliving countless retail failures, an increasingly fickle public, and even this venerable brand’s acquisition by Bed Bath & Beyond several years ago.
Additionally, our branding treatment was interpreted in a wide range of innovative signage, complementing Christmas Tree Shops’ equally wide range of architectural styles.
Results
Over 80 Christmas Tree Shop are now thriving throughout the nation, augmented by an equally successful online presence. The merchandise that Christmas Tree Shops offers today has grown far beyond the brand’s original, holiday season theme—thus its parent company’s recent decision to transition their brand name to Christmas Tree Shops And That! … precipitating a simplified branding treatment.
We are proud that the branding we created for this popular entity carried it so successfully for over 40 years, it’s now become a perennial favorite.
